The Zodi-yak Track allowed players to earn rewards for completing tasks. It began on 23 March 2020, and concluded on the 3rd of May 2020. There were two prize tracks in both premium and free. The latter was more lucrative and offered greater prizes. The premium track can be unlocked by an active Premier Club membership, or through the purchase of the Premier Pass using two bonds.
This thread is a place to share helpful notes and tips for the Zodi-yak Track!
Many people don't like MtX, and others find it boring. But, there are many players (like myself) who aren't yet maxed out which is a great opportunity to complete tasks we would have to do otherwise, and get complimentary cosmetics and other things along the way.
General Notes
-These are things I have collected myself, or gathered from various others on Reddit.
Keep materials from gathering tasks. For instance, materials from fishing and woodcutting tasks should be stored and used for cooking and firemaking tasks. While this might sound like common sense however, I've seen a lot of players simply throw away all the materials they've gathered. Although this may appear to be faster than the traditional way however, you'll need to pay gp for any future tasks to obtain the same materials that you've already worked on.
When you begin a task, ensure that the task you're working on is appropriate for the task. Don't get deep into it and realize you've been doing something that's not relevant to the task.
It's recommended to check your game messages when you're doing chores. This will make sure that what's being completed is actually being counted. It announces the first item, and increments of 10.
The majority of the time, it's for the free track but it can be applied to any person:
-Woodcutting tasks. It can be helpful to end an evil branch. If you're looking to preserve logs, this will allow you to create a magical log bank. The evil tree may speed up the woodcutting process.
-Runecrafting tasks - The free track says "Fire rane and above". It states that body runes are counted on the tab for information. Fire runes unlock at level 14, while Body runes unlock at the level 20. In the runespan fleshy growths (level 20) count, but so do Fireballs (level 14) and Fire storms (level 27). However air runes gathered from fire storms don't count. Vines (17th level) aren't eligible because they have a lower level of fire runes than earth or water runes. To sum up, fleshy growths and fireballs are possible to accomplish the "Fire rane and over" runecrafting job.
-Prayer tasks: Urns do not count. In order to count the ashes it is necessary to scatter them by hand. The bonecrusher is acceptable for this purpose. Cremation and the ectoplasmator are not included. Tl;dr: prayer tasks are rather finicky, so make sure what you're doing counts.
-Smithing tasks: Attempt to make single-bar items. This task doesn't count the individual bars employed to create items with multiple bars. So, it is only possible to create items using one bar. For the best efficiency, use single bar items to smith.
Track 13: The "Fool-assisted king run" is a problem. The running prompt is only given by the Duke once. Even it is that, the run will not be considered. He doesn't respond to repeated requests for prompts if he is trying to continue the conversation. Additionally, I'm not sure regarding this, however the surge method could mean that the effort won't be counted because it's technically an attempt to"teleport. In this regard, most players prefer to do the shoot star challenge. When looking for the star, there are a few factors that can make it easier for you to do:
-The timer in the minigames menu differs from evil tree. If one is in the process of crashing it will not show "ready". It resets the timer.
-Google a map of shooting sites of star crashes. Simply sit next to it and continue to move around the world until you locate one. I used the crafting guild mining site and went through about 10 worlds before I came across one.
There are 50 tiers, and players are able to earn cosmetics and other items as they progress through each. Accounts with Ironman will only receive the cosmetic rewards. The free account will not be able to receive members ' rewards, like large prismatic lamps or Silverhawk down. Players who become members can claim any rewards that were not already claimed. Completing all tiers will give you 8% more prayer and +6% Agility and +6% Herblore experience.
If the tasks are completed with the premium pass, and the player is later granted the pass, all previously earned premium rewards will unlock.
