In Spanish, Playa Blanca means "white beach," which is a perfect name for it. It is, without a doubt, the whitest beach in the whole Punta Cana area. Walk along this beautiful stretch of beach and take in the beautiful views. Don't forget your sunglasses. You might go blind from the sun and, especially, the white beach.
Note: If you have a long layover at the Punta Cana airport for whatever reason, Playa Blanca is the closest beach, just 2 miles away.

The best thing to do at Playa Blanca is to relax and take in the beautiful colors. If you want to go outside, you can go to "Los Ojos Indigenas," which is a nature reserve with about a dozen crystal-clear lagoons connected by a nice hiking trail. You can also go swimming in some of the lagoons. Playa Blanca Beach is only 3 miles from Los Ojos Indigenas, but be aware that there is a 50 USD entrance fee.

2. Playa Juanillo

It has a beach club (even though the famous Little John closed a few months ago), perfect water color, and beautiful places to take photos (among them a long jetty, giant palm trees and the beautiful color of the water itself).
Playa Juanillo might not be the best beach for swimming because the water is quite shallow, but it is a great place to sunbathe, sip a cocktail, watch the beautiful scenery of swaying palm trees, and enjoy the Caribbean beach atmosphere. Just keep in mind that the beach is changing a lot because a few resorts and other buildings are going up right next to Playa Juanillo.
