Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) is one of the largest medical schools in Iran. Located in Tehran, it was established in 1974 as The Imperial Medical Center and was designed by William Perera and Associates.
The school is state-run, and trains 7,000 students in its current field of regenerative medicine. Its students are ranked in the top 1% of Iran's students in nationally ranked entrance exams for universities.
The university operates ten schools (Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, Public Health, Health Management and Information Sciences, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Medicine, Allied Medical Sciences and Advanced Technologies in Medicine and Pharmacy at its international campus) and two centers. , two institutes, twenty-nine research centers, seventeen teaching and fifteen non-teaching hospitals are located in Tehran.
Iran Medical Sciences and Health Services Admission Process
To enroll in the MBBS program at Iran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, students must first complete the following steps:
Step 1. Check eligibility for MBBS course in Iranian University by submitting required documents of Class 10th and 12th, NEET Certificates.
Step 2. Once the student receives the eligibility letter, fill the application form of the selected university.
Step 3. Submit all required documents.
Step 4. Pay the registration and visa fee directly to the university account.
Step 5. Students have to undergo an online interview with the medical faculty.
