This is a super relaxed and intimate rustic wedding, having a reception on the working farm, along with a couple keen to produce a lovely, inclusive atmosphere, with a lot of great food and music inside a beautifully styled open-plan space.

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Castledine – Mel, Design Manager for Nutmeg Clothing at Morrisons, and Dan, Sales Manager for any recycling company. They were married around the 16 September at West Bridgford, Nottingham, before heading to a farm venue in Kinoulton for her reception.

Mel wore an amazing bespoke embroidered and embellished gown, by having an intricate floral design and shimmering beads in ivory and blush pink.

I love the appearance that groom Dan comes up with a navy jacket and chinos, together with having a shirt and grey waistcoat, a patterned tie, and brogues.

The bridesmaids looked fantastic in pink bridesmaid dresses, which they each wore having a long pendant necklace.

Mel and her party made their way to Bridgford Hall to start the wedding ceremony, and she walked down the aisle together with her dad to Kodaline's song, The One.

"I (Dan) met Mel inside a clothing shop fifteen years ago, and we went on the date, however for one reason or another we didn't keep on, however, I was always in touch."

"We were built with a coffee and sparks flew. We were dating for 2 years, enjoying holidays after which living together, which helped me feel like planning to marry her. I booked us a vacation, and asked her to marry me around the beach watching an attractive sunrise in Cape Verde." Go

The couple wrote their very own vows to express to one another, also exchanging rings, that have been bespoke creations by Nottingham based.

After the ceremony, Mel and Dan headed off for a drive inside a vintage convertible Mercedes, with a funny tale mounted on it!

"We had struggled to get a vintage car for Dan they are driving, however, we said we'd hold out and find out what developed. Dan was out running, with a beautiful 1960s soft-top Mercedes drove by, so Dan being Mr. Cheeky asked the motive force if we're able to use it for the marriage. After 10 mins, the generous man decided to supply his lovely car!"

"We didn't wish to lose any atmosphere, therefore we designed the venue to help keep most people together consuming meals!"

Later at night, following speeches, the time had come to dance, with live music from, who Mel and Dan call, "truly incredible entertainment."

"Our first dance ended up being to The Chainsmokers featuring Chris Martin, Something Just Like This. It's undoubtedly my favorite song, and extremely did make me feel I wanted something much like this."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Stick to your values and speak openly together with your partner about what you wish to achieve that day."

"For us, it had been about separating the ceremony, which was the important bit, and realizing the reception is about showing your appreciation for your guests for his or their support to get you to this time in your life."
