Lydia and Chad tied the knot in the Full Moon Resort within the Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York. Both love the lake and being outdoors and were hoping to find a barn wedding in addition to a venue that may offer overnight accommodations for that wedding party. Full Moon was an ideal spot for their rustic barn wedding coupled with enough rooms for the wedding guests to remain on-site during the nighttime of the wedding.

We did not have a theme. We just wanted our wedding to become simple. We wanted the natural aspects of our wedding details and also the beauty of our venue to face out. We chose white and soft pink for the flowers and wanted plenty of greenery. We chose Dusty Rose for that bridesmaids' dress color to ‘go with’ the flowers. We desired to feature other natural materials--we used recycled kraft paper for the stationery, all of the linens were white, and we used natural-looking wood in lots of places. It was easy and natural, and also the Dusty Rose perfectly complemented the natural details.

My favorite part of the day was when Chad and I had our first look after we took our portrait photos together. We finally reached enjoy our day together after all of the planning! It was so lovely to consider a deep breath and become in one another's company. It felt like returning home. Chad says his best part of the day was whenever we exchanged our vows and rings. It was an incredible feeling to invest in each other before all our friends and family members.

My bridesmaids were all within the country: PA, Idaho, Washington State, and NYC. I loved that my bridesmaids could put on their dresses before purchasing using the trial program. I also loved they could have them custom-sized. I wanted each bridesmaid to possess a dress suitable for her own style, therefore it was awesome that there were a lot of dresses to select from.
