Victoria, Canada — June 30, 2025

I don’t usually write about tools. But after spending a few weeks testing a pre-release version of the Clipn.ai app, I felt I had to share this.

As a solo creator juggling long-form video recordings from my weekly livestreams, one of my biggest struggles has always been this: how to repurpose an hour-long video into multiple short, engaging clips that actually perform well on TikTok, Reels, or Shorts — without spending hours editing.

Then I found Clipn.ai.

This app (launching officially in July) is built by a company called QQAI.ai based in Victoria, Canada. And it does something I’ve never seen before — it uses AI to break down your long videos into vertical, shareable clips, with automatically generated subtitles, hook-worthy intros, and everything formatted perfectly for social media.

Here’s what really impressed me:

  • It finds the highlights for you. You upload your horizontal video, and it scans for the best parts. No scrubbing through timelines or manually cutting.

  •  It adds captions automatically. They’re editable, accurate, and even styled to look good. The output looks professional. I uploaded a basic webcam recording — and what came back looked like something I’d pay an editor to do.

  •  It even converts everything to vertical, so you don’t need to worry about aspect ratios or formatting rules for different platforms.

The impact?

What used to take me a full day now takes maybe 15 minutes. I batch export five to ten shorts from each livestream, upload to multiple platforms, and the reach has grown noticeably — more comments, more follows, more conversions.

I didn’t expect an app to become part of my weekly content workflow. But Clipn.ai has earned its spot.

Who should try this?

  •     A YouTuber who wants to extract Shorts from long-form videos

  •     A podcaster looking to promote episodes on TikTok

  •     A course creator or consultant doing Zoom-based trainings

  •     Or just someone who doesn’t want to learn video editing…

When can you get it?

The official mobile app (iOS + Android) drops mid-July 2025. I got early access through a pilot test, but they’re opening sign-ups soon at www.clipn.ai. There’s a free plan if you want to try it out without commitment.

I don’t usually recommend tools. But if you make video content — or want to — this one’s worth checking out.
