Assistant chief quest design Johnny Cash told P2Pah in an interview on Monday that the new tools for creating came directly from feedback received from the community, and the wishes from the team working on development. Cash also talked to us about his new role model WoTLK Gold which is one of WoW's first trans character.

"There was plenty of pressure in this expansion by the team and the community to desire to be more expressive," Cash said. "And I believe that humans are the most perfect illustration of this. We heard from people who stated, "I enjoy Azeroth and play constantly, but I'm not able to make characters that look exactly like me.' It was a question we thought about and it was actually the first step with the many new options for character customization."

The main focus of the choices will be available to the human race, however Blizzard hopes to extend this to other races later on.

"Humans are the first step in this, and then moving to our other races as well seeking out other possibilities ... regardless of whether they'd like to dress like them or want to be different from them. The goal of our team is to offer players more options than they've had previously," Cash said.

Cash said that Blizzard plans to add new customization features in the near future, although Cash didn't reveal specific plans. Also in buy WoTLK Classic Gold is the possibility to switch genders without having to pay for it.
