  4. GOB LED display is considered a SMD LED display that has better protection features.

Some other types of LED display technology are direct-View LED displays, transparent LED displays and flexible LED Displays and organic LED Displays.

Powering High Powered LEDs

LED video walls are individual light-emitting diode (LED) modules on a frame. The modules are rectangular arrays that are monitored by an electronic controller.

There are many ways to power high-current LEDz. The most common method is the DC-DC converter with current feedback. These are power-conversion circuits that use passive, low-pass LC filters to smooth out switching action into constant voltages.

The other method to power high-powered LEDs is to monitor the voltage and current. If the voltage and current are too high for the LEDs, you will need a buck (step-down) converter. If the voltage is too low, you will need a boost (step-up) converter.

Another way is to use a power source with adequate current. Make sure your power supply can drive the amount of LEDs you plan to use.
