The Santa Clauses, an original series from Disney, has debuted its first teaser trailer. Scott Calvin, played by Tim Allen, first appeared in the 1994 film The Santa Clause. The teaser sets its stall, revealing the main plot of the series. Which sees Calvin announcing his retirement from the role of Santa. Nearly two decades after the third film in the franchise was released. Also, The wave of nostalgia that has recently washed over cinema. And, TV is bringing the beloved characters back one more time. On November 16, The Santa Clauses will make its Disney+ debut with a double episode that features a number of fan favorites. Including David Krumholtz as Bernard the Elf and Elizabeth Mitchell as Scott’s wife Carol/Mrs. Claus. As Scott determines “for the welfare of his family” it is time for him to retire. And, locate a new Santa Claus to replace him, the new season will catch up with the Calvins.
